The Great St Mary's Village Fete
Here goes folks! On Saturday night - 3rd June the Jodiworld Convention will be hosting the Great St Mary's Village Fete in the Minster Suite (Main big room) at the Convention.
Come as you are, flaunt your Jodiworld T Shirt, or wear your most exotic fancy dress outfit - anything goes! In the early part of the evening there will be stalls with games, a fortune teller, side saddle demonstrations, and diverse entertainments!
There will also be food stalls (provided by the hotel).
Later on, we have our wonderful live band "Reservoir 5" .
Meanwhile - gentle reader - we need to explain how the food stalls will work.
Dotted around the main hall will be stalls offering a variety of foods:
The price will be £25 per head and you may take a dish from each stall, if you wish.
However, some of you have dietary requirements. At the moment, the only dietary requirement we can comply with (as these are the choices after months of wrangling that the hotel have given us) are Vegetarian/Vegan.
If you are lactose/nut/gluten etc intolerant let us know and we will mention but - If you are one of those people who are allergic to everything and very specific, bear in mind the hotel is trying to cater for 300 people, and may not be able to be so specific, so bear with us and them, and possibly you may have to source your food from the Bar or elsewhere.
SALES OF MEAL TICKETS ARE NOW CLOSED. THERE WILL BE BAR FOOD AVAILABLE DURING THE EVENT.
Members may still attend even without a food ticket - but will have to source food elsewhere. This event is open to all.

- Mini Fish and Chips with Tartare Sauce
- Bean Chili with Coriander Rice
